My Helper

Sometimes my granddaughter will come with me to look for seashells which makes for a fun day!

After we wash the shells, we 'paint' them with baby oil to bring out the color.

Then we look in our shell books to learn the names.

Here are some of our treasures from April and May 2013

Pretty yellow Scallop

Anything living goes back in the water like these Hermit Crabs  :)

A Royal Starfish washed ashore

Banded Tulip

Lightning Whelks

Interesting pattern on this piece of  coral

Same coral, different view

LET'S GO SHELLING!
