Shelling in the Heat is Not Fun

During the day if hot and need to shell, I bring an umbrella to give some relief

  1. Hi Cathy, I live in Pensacola. My sister is here and I want to take her shelling over in Panama City. I have seen many posts from you with the most amazing finds. Could you let me know where the best spot is over in Panama City? We went to Panama City as kids, but I haven't been to the beach there in forever. It always seems so crowded. Where would you recommend we go? Thank you in advance for your help. My email address is mary_jo_kidwell_hanna@hotmail.com.

    1. Greetings ~ It's hard to say where to dig because the same spot one day may give you many shells and the next day give you few. That is the challenge/fun... finding a good place to dig. Usually if I see pieces of shells on the surface, I dig there & move around as I dig. Also I choose a place where there aren't many people. Look along beach exits 7 thru 11 and also the state park where they recently restored the beach. Happy Shelling!
