Some of the shells of late are old/seasoned and are either rust color or black. I prefer the original colors but like you and me, each shell has a beauty all its own no matter the color!

About the author: Cathy Jean Palmer was born in Hollywood, California and grew up in nearby Burbank. Her father, Gordon Palmer, worked at the movie studios as a grip while her stay a home mother, full of wit and humor, volunteered in the community.
